So, December was a very exciting month, and it feels like life might be back to a normal speed.
John Paul started a new position in OKC as a field engineer. So he's been doing training and I think he's enjoying it. It's not being trapped in a cubicle!
I got to pack the house while he went to OK to start working. With help from our wonderful Houston friends helped in the packing up.
I did a reconnaissance mission to find a place to live in OKC, and then JP, our dads, and I went and got the house packed up. We moved stuff in the weekend before Christmas. I had a few days to unpack, then we went home for awhile for Christmas. John Paul figured out that 4 vacation days gave him almost 2 weeks off with the days they were given off to make up for the holiday being on the weekend. It was so nice to spend time at home!
We came back and worked really hard unpacking and cleaning, and had "The Group" over for New Years. We really missed them while we were gone.
I've been looking for a job and keeping things sparkly around here, hoping to find something interesting soon!
I'm planning on posting pictures of the house soon, but I don't know where the time went today. I've got a few things to do before JP gets home from work!
